When Vic and Vickie Bennett welcomed their grandson Xander through foster care, they made him a lavender-filled plush to help ease his anxiety and bring peace at bedtime.
Seeing how much it comforted him, they began giving one to every child in foster care for each one sold — and Xander Community was born.
Today, their simple promise has grown into a nationwide mission to remind every child in care that they are loved and not alone.

Every Xander Friend begins its journey at Lavender Life Farm in Michigan, where fields of lavender are grown, harvested, and infused into each cuddly friend by hand.
